Vendor Information

The event will be held in the Student Activity Center at Victor Valley College located at 18422 Bear Valley Rd. Victorville, Ca. 92395. This is a free event open to the public from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, June 16, 2018. The vendor application, payment of fees and copy of applicable permits are due to the High Desert Black Heritage Committee no later than June 9, 2018.

  • Clubs and Non-profit organizations – Free
  • Retail Vendors: $35
  • Food Vendors: $70

Advertising and Sponsorship

Advertising opportunities are available for vendors who would like to be listed on marketing material promoting the event. The advertising may include and is not limited to flyers, posters, radio advertisements and public announcements.

The High Desert Black Heritage Committee is a non-profit organization registered with the State of California. All contributions entitle donors to tax benefits.

Vendor Terms and Conditions:

  • Incomplete Applications will not be processed.
  • All resale vendors are asked to donate an item to be raffled off during the event.
  • Vendor set up is from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Please be prompt.
  • After 9:45 am no vehicles will be allowed to drive to the vendor area to deliver supplies.
  • We ask that vendors maintain their booth until the event ends at 5:00 pm.
  • Each vendor booth should be ready for the public no later than 10:00am on June 16, 2018
  • Each vendor is responsible for cleaning up their space throughout the event and when it ends.
  • A current and proper Seller’s Permit should be displayed/available at the vending station.
  • Food vendors must have a valid food handler’s license and health permit available for State inspectors on the day of the event. There is access to running water in the Student Activity Center. All food vendors will be located outside on concrete.
  • Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables, table covers, handouts, displays, signs, etc. Two chairs will be provided.
  • Vendors who are placed outside and plan to use an EZ-UP or tent covering must ensure the covering is in good condition, secured at all times and follow all safety guidelines per fire codes; the tents must display a patch that states it is fire retardant. If there is no patch on it, it can be used at the event.
  • Vendors are responsible for the staffing and security of their area at all times. Victor Valley College and The High Desert Black Heritage Committee and their affiliates are not responsible for damage or loss of property or person during the event.
  • Vendor locations are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Prime locations are given to vendors who submit their application first.
